Cellulite — a formidable foe
Nine out of ten women will have cellulite in their lifetime. Cellulite isn’t fat, it isn’t caused by what or how much you eat, and not because you aren’t exercising enough. The contributing factors to cellulite are:
1) skin thins over time
2) fat cells enlarge and push against the skin
3) the fibrous bands under the skin thicken and cause tension
Where QWO works
QWO was approved by the FDA to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women.
How QWO works
The active ingredients in QWO are collagenases, which are enzymes. While we still don’t know exactly how these collagenases combat cellulite, we suspect that they may release the fibrous bands in your tissue, redistribute your fat cells, and stimulate the growth of new collagen.
QWO results
In order to gain FDA approval, QWO was extensively tested. In fact, more than 1,800 women took part in studies that found that QWO works remarkably well in eliminating cellulite around the buttocks. To see for yourself, here are some results.
Getting your QWO treatments
In most cases, we recommend a series of three injections, spaced 21 days apart. We can inject both sides of your buttocks, up to 24 injection sites (12 per side for moderate-severe). Expect impressive bruising from this treatment, as this is a part of the process.
When it comes to results, you should notice gradual improvement as you progress through the injections. Visible results may be achieved in 10 weeks. Injections are quick, usually 15 minutes once skin is prepped. You can go on with your day after your treatment. We have packaged this treatment with our LaseMD scheduled the next day, to help facilitate healing from the bruising. In addition we send you home with Silagen and JanMarini’s CelluliTx cream for cellulite.
