Dermal Fillers Q & A

Aesthetic Assets - Face and Body Rejuvenation

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers can replace some of the volume lost from your face as a result of aging. There are many types of dermal fillers designed to address specific areas and issues, including sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and deep acne scars.

What dermal fillers are available?

At Aesthetic Assets, Pam and Stacey offer a wide range of dermal fillers, including:

Juvederm® XC

Made from hyaluronic acid, Juvederm XC adds volume to your face, softening fine lines and wrinkles.

Volbella®

Volbella’s small particle size allows it to penetrate the lips, allowing for subtle improvements and making it an ideal treatment for lip enhancement. Volbella is also effective in diminishing the fine lines surrounding the lips.

Voluma® and Vollure®

Voluma is FDA approved for use on the cheek and mid-face area. Vollure is mostly used for moderate-to-severe facial lines and folds, like those around the nose.

Boletero®

Another hyaluronic acid-based product, Boletero works particularly well on deep acne scars, as well as diminishing lines and wrinkles. It can be molded to each person’s unique facial structure.

Restalyne® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne

These hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers restore volume and address wrinkles near the mouth and nose, as well as marionette lines.

Sculptra®

Made of a biosynthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra stimulates collagen production, smoothing lines and wrinkles.

Radiesse®

Made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres, Radiesse stimulates collagen production, addressing moderate-to-severe facial folds and wrinkles.

Revanesse Versa®

The newest dermal filler on the market, Revanesse Versa improves the appearance of facial wrinkles, lines, and creases.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Results vary, but most Juvéderm fillers last between six and 18 months. Voluma may last up to two years, while Volbella lip fillers last for a year. Once the effects of your dermal fillers wear off, you can have the treatments repeated.

Pam and Stacey are happy to discuss your aesthetic concerns and recommend the best dermal fillers to help you achieve the look you desire. To explore your dermal filler options, call Aesthetic Assets or book an appointment online today.
